Meet the Young Chiropractic Team

Rebekah Lovett:

After completing my Business and Hospitality Certificates, a job with one of the Perth Hotels presented itself to me. After working within the company for five years, I met thousands of different people and it made me realise that I wanted to work for a company that benefited the lives of all these people.

I hadn’t learnt much about Chiropractic let alone been under Chiropractic Care, so when I saw a job vacancy with Dr Young I thought it would be great opportunity to learn more. I was overjoyed when Dr Young called in June 2007 to congratulate me on being the right candidate for the job. I didn’t realise there was so much to Chiropractic and the many different ways it can impact your life.

Since being under Chiropractic Care, I have noticed changes in my health and general wellbeing. I was constantly getting sick and experiencing such things as headaches, neck pain and back pain and thought that it was just the way I was. Being under Chiropractic Care has definitely helped and I feel so fortunate that I was introduced to Chiropractic when I was.

I now have a lot more energy to do the things I love, such as play a bit of cricket and footy down the park with friends and I’m even starting to play golf (well trying to!).

I look forward to continuing my journey with Young Chiropractic and meeting many more of the wonderful people like I already have along the way.

Amy Salt:

In November 2004, an opportunity presented itself. I soon found out that it was the opportunity of a lifetime, both professionally and personally. My work experience had seen me in banking, investments and superannuation, and I had once again reached my potential. Looking for yet another venture and challenge, I found myself as Chiropractic Assistant to Dr. Rachel Young.

Chiropractic has opened up a new life for me, and I am a better person physically, mentally and spiritually. My testimonial will tell you more about my experience with Chiropractic. My husband Michael and I married in August 2006 and our son Kale was born in April 2007. I am really enjoying being part of the team after being on leave for a few months, and I believe in ‘a state of balance’. Between work and being a mum I love to exercise and enjoy reading anything that makes you stop and think about life a little differently. My goal is to walk the Bibbulmun Track and study philosophy.

Dr Rachel Asks some important questions of interest to Wembley residents - Chiropractor Wembley Dr Rachel Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Wembley chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
